The Gangi Dante Agricultural Company was born in the heart of Sicily, a few kilometers from Resuttano (CL), in
1999. The business idea was born following an analysis that highlighted a high level of
demand for medicinal herbs and a limited supply of the latter on the market. So in 1999 Dante
Gangi and Angela Randisi decided to cultivate the first hectare of Origanum vulgare organically.
Initially the idea was to supply the pharmaceutical industry through the production of oils
essential, but subsequently we opted to bring the flavors and aromas of our much loved land
Sicily on consumers' tables.

In the first five years of activity the company limited itself to the exclusive production of oregano, but one
once more information was acquired regarding the needs of the market, production began
extended to additional aromatic herbs: chilli pepper, thyme, sage, rosemary, lavender, bay leaf,
Wild Fennel and Parsley.
